Has this tribe died or are people just, hopefully, out there camping?

Re: Dead Tribe?
Wed, February 20, 2008 - 6:30 PMyou know, this was one of the first tribes I joined when I joined Tribe... then, I wasn't on line for over a year... Since I've been back, there have been maybe 4 posts here?
I don't *think* it's dead yet, but I'm hoping we're all ready to head out of doors again soon!!! -

Re: Dead Tribe?
Thu, February 21, 2008 - 11:40 AMThe Northern Sierra Outdoors tribe is not dead; it's hiding in Argentina. In addition to the local yahoo hiking groups, I posted one of my outings last Summer here. Not much response from this tribe. I may try again later in the season. -

Re: Dead Tribe?
Fri, February 22, 2008 - 9:20 AMI think in a Coma might better describe the stasis of this tribeā¦
I lived in Reno when I started this tribe and spent most all of my free time wandering the northern Sierra, I have since moved back to Alaska. However the Sierra remains one of my favorite places on earth and somewhere I visit at least once or twice a year.
The number of members vs. the participation did always seem out of proportion but that is common among online sites and not just Tribe.
The tribe is still here, the member count still grows, so post away if you want. I have noticed most questions still get answered or directions given, they are just kind of few & far between these days.
I will be down there again the end of March and will spend two weeks wandering through the area and will post some of my events at that time should anyone care to join me.
